14D Photography offers personalised 1:1 training and online tutorials for photographers of all levels — whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your craft.

About the Training

Our one-to-one newborn photography mentoring is designed to suit your individual needs and learning pace.
Training takes place at my Wembley home Studio.


The day runs from 10:00 AM to around 2:00 PM, giving you a full, hands-on experience.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to communicate with parents and prepare them (and baby!) for the session

  • Session planning, styling, and workflow

  • Camera settings and lighting for perfect studio results

  • Newborn safety and posing transitions

  • Working efficiently without an assistant

  • Posing with flokatis, bean bags, and props

  • Camera angles and composition

  • Calming and soothing techniques for unsettled babies

  • Parent posing guidance

  • Editing in Lightroom (LR), Adobe Camera Raw (ACR), and Photoshop (PS)

Please note: This is not a beginner photography course. You should have a basic understanding of shooting in manual mode with a DSLR camera.

Ongoing Support

After your training day, you’ll receive long-term support through access to my private Facebook Mentoring Group, where you can share images, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback.

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of training.

1:1 Training

14D Photography offer a quality 1:1 Newborn Photography Mentoring for everyone who want to learn newborn photography.

Training is tailored to your personal needs and takes place in my Greenford Studio or at your own place. The day starts at 10am and aim to finish around 2pm.

 

Training includes:

  • communication with the parents and how to prepare them and a baby for a session
  • session planning and styling
  • camera settings
  • how to use studio light to get the best results
  • newborn safety
  • workflow, posing transition
  • how to manage the session if you work with no assistant
  • flokati, bean bag and props posing
  • camera angles

  • working with unsleeping babies

  • LR , ACR and PS editing, composition

This is not a photography course, and while we are able to offer advice on settings suitable for this genre, it is best you have a basic understanding of how to use your DSLR in manual.

Long term support after the training day with access to my  Private Facebook Mentoring Group. Where you can post pictures and get some CC or any general enquires.
